When I first met George I was struck by his appearance – he is tall, has twinkly eyes and a beautiful smile. It soon became clear his talents run far deeper than good looks. He cooks very elegant food – with subtle, interesting flavours and textures – and presents it beautifully. That he isn’t afraid of catering to vegans and vegetarians is a big bonus. Furthermore, the exceptionally skillful and charming way in which George interacts with guests is much appreciated – it is after all your home and your friends.
George is also easy to work with. He’s punctual, a good communicator, provides good advice and delivers on everything that has been agreed to. He also has the very admirable traits of being tidy and organised.
I have seen George in action twice – first when he catered a sit-down dinner at a friend’s house and more recently when he provided finger food for 25 people at my partner’s birthday party. Both occasions were characterised by the quality of George’s food and the professional way he conducted himself.
I heartily recommend A Taste of George. With everything taken care of by these professional hands, you can enjoy your party with your guests.

A wonderful weekend in Cirencester starting with George’s famous Thai Fishcakes at The Coxwell Street Party on Friday evening with over forty very happy neighbours. And then on Royal Wedding Day and in glorious weather, we held a canapé party in an apartment with ten guests. More Thai Fishcakes and George’s signature canapés and for the former Mayor cocktail sausages with Tewkesbury Mustard and delicious cucumber sandwiches. Then we joined the Coxwell Court Party in the garden with neighbours and friends. All wonderful and all thanks to George.

As a mother of a young baby and a foodie George gave us the chance to enjoy a night of fine dining at home (something which we don’t get chance to do anymore). George puts you at ease from the moment he arrives. His friendly manner and positive outlook make him very easy to work with and he makes sure your dining experience is perfect as he serves beautiful food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George again.

We recently had the pleasure and honour of experiencing a wonderful evening with George at the culinary helm! The five courses started with a mouth-watering explosion of George’s secret amuse-bouche. Once seated, we were personally served by George with a cucumber lamb yogurt roll delicately topped roasted spiced almonds. Next, our palettes were tantalized with a tomato with buffalo mozzarella and mango dressing. A moment of rest and then onto our main event, homemade mushroom ravioli with sage sauce which was one of the best I have ever had the opportunity to savor, so delicate and light yet so flavorful. We then finished with a Dark chocolate fondant with white chocolate semifreddo! With each course, George presented and spent a moment explaining the beautifully and meticulously presented course which he prepared. A private evening with a ‘Taste of George’ is highly recommended! George’s superb culinary delights served by George himself, I would say are two great tastes which taste great together!

I hosted a dinner party for my 5 very close friends. They are tough act to please as two are incredibly good cooks and I also requested a vegetarian only meal. George was more than happy to rise to the occasion and served up an authentic four-course meal that could not be faulted in presentation, taste sensation, fresh and each dish complimented the next one. George provided linen and leaves your kitchen as he found it! Relaxed time for me!

George ‘s food was effortlessly prepared, delicious, fresh and very healthy ( until we got to the banoffee pie part). Pouring wine from a magnum with one arm was also impressive to watch. Great night, great food, lots of fun. We look forward to next time.
